Introduction

Dentistry is a subdivision of medical science involved in the study, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases, disorders and conditions of the oral cavity and of adjacent and related structures and tissues, particularly in the maxillofacial (jaw and facial) area.

Journal of Clinical Advances in Dentistry publishes diligently peer-reviewed manuscripts converging ongoing analytical and research-oriented efforts to improve the quality of oral health and to meet the myriad changes that will chart new directions in the future for dental education, research and practice.

Journal of Clinical Advances in Dentistry publishes and promotes empirical and exploratory research works in oral health care assuring that the dental health professionals are kept abreast of scientific and technological advancements and the continuing development of dental practice.

Reasons for Publishing

Oral health diseases are common in all regions of the world and their impact on anatomical and social functioning is widely recognized. The risk factors and social determinants for oral diseases have been systematically documented and the evidence-base for their prevention is growing. However, studies focus that decisions on health care are still often made without a solid grounding in research evidence.

Hence, Journal of Clinical Advances in Dentistry initiated to transmute the knowledge and experiences of dental care professionals in manuscripts that can provide valuable assistance in oral disease prevention and dental health promotional actions.

Journal of Clinical Advances in Dentistry encourages research capacity building and strengthens oral health awareness at global level enhancing our ability to detect disease at an earlier state of progression.
